I celebrated my birthday today with friends at work and later with family at home. What a wonderful day! Here's a photo of one of the flowers in an arrangement from my friend, Karen. I used my new tripod and ballhead to help capture this image. My Canon 50D helped, too.

I've started this blog tonight, mostly for my images. I'm waiting for my new camera body to arrive and eager to pair it with one of my lenses and see what I can capture.
